Midland Classical boys go 0-4 at Denver City Shootout, 4-9 overall

What happened: Midland Classical competed in the Denver City Shootout from Thursday, Dec. 4, through Saturday, Dec. 6, finishing 0-4 with losses to Permian’s junior varsity team, Fort Stockton (4-5 overall), Legacy’s junior varsity team, and Amarillo’s River Road (1-5 overall). The weekend results move the Knights to 4-9 overall. Judah Schulz led Midland Classical in scoring, including back-to-back 12-point performances.

• Game 2: Fort Stockton 56, Midland Classical 46

• Game 3: LHS JV 55, Midland Classical 50
  The Knights held a tight matchup with Legacy’s JV the entire game, and Judah Schulz scored 12 points for the Knights.

  The Knights held another close game until the final buzzer, and Judah Schulz led with 12 points.
