Midland early voting underway with turnout under 4% so far
What to watch: Early voting is underway for the March 3 Primary Election. As a reminder, weekend voting is available, with polls open Saturday and Sunday. You’ll find a list of early voting locations and times below. Early voting runs through Friday, Feb. 27.
As of Friday, 3,642 total ballots have been cast, including 85 by mail. The daily totals were 736 on Tuesday, 870 on Wednesday, 857 on Thursday, and 1,094 on Friday. Because this is a primary election, voters choose either a Republican or Democratic ballot, so the total reflects participation across both parties. With 97,642 registered voters in Midland County, this represents under 4% of possible voters so far.
Local races on the ballot include county offices such as County Judge, County Commissioners, Clerks, Justices of the Peace, and District Courts.
