What to watch: The holiday shopping season arrives as the 6th Annual Gifty Christmas Market returns to the Midland County Horseshoe on Nov. 21–23. The three-day market features dozens of vendors offering handmade gifts, boutique fashion, holiday treats, and more.

The big picture: Visitors can browse a wide mix of vendors from artisan makers to gourmet food booths. These locally made items are ideal for knocking out early Christmas shopping or simply soaking up the first wave of seasonal cheer. The market also brings festive fun for families, including appearances from Santa and the Grinch. This market doesn’t just support local makers. It also directly benefits local kids. Last year, door proceeds raised more than $24,000 for 3:11 Ministries, which partners with MISD to help economically disadvantaged children.

Go deeper: The market runs Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Admission is $5, and every entry supports 3:11 Ministries in helping families throughout the Permian Basin. For more details, visit the official event website.
