Greenwood baseball earns multiple all-district honors

What happened: Greenwood baseball earned multiple all-district honors following a 23-11 season overall with 7-3 in district play, averaging 6.7 runs per game, which included a second-place district finish and a playoff appearance.
The big picture: Reece Watzl was named District Offensive Player of the Year, while Beckam Whiteside earned District Co-Newcomer of the Year honors. Greenwood also placed four players on the first-team all-district list, including Isaac Montes, Robert Guajardo, Sutton Medlin, and Joaquin Tavarez. Second-team all-district selections included Ryder Creswell, Bransen Cantrell, and Jackson Audas.
