What happened: Greenwood dropped a 54–32 home matchup to Odessa High on Tuesday, Nov. 25. The Rangers trailed 8–5 after the first and went into halftime down 20–13. Odessa High extended the lead in the third, outscoring Greenwood 22–9 to make it 42–22 heading into the fourth. The Rangers continued to compete but could not close the gap late. The loss moved Greenwood to 2-2 for the season.

Go deeper: Greenwood worked to generate looks inside and stayed active defensively, but Odessa High’s pace and scoring runs created separation in the second half. The Rangers showed positive stretches with ball movement and rebounding, but struggled to match the Broncos’ consistency in transition.

What’s next: Greenwood will face Big Spring next Tuesday, Dec. 2, before heading to the Marble Falls Tournament. The Rangers look to regroup and build rhythm heading into tournament play.
