What happened: Greenwood fell 53–51 to Andrews in a district matchup Wednesday night, Jan. 28. The Rangerettes dropped to 13–14 overall and 3–3 in district play, while Andrews moved to 13–15 overall and 3–3 in district. Emily Jones led Greenwood with 20 points.

The big picture: Greenwood opened strong, building a 23–7 lead after the first quarter. Andrews outscored the Rangerettes in the second 11-9, but Greenwood maintained a 32–18 advantage at halftime. Andrews chipped away in the third quarter, scoring 13 points to the Rangerettes 11, cutting the margin to 43–31 entering the fourth. Andrews then outscored Greenwood 22–8 in the final period to complete the comeback.
