What happened: Greenwood dropped a road district game to Seminole on Friday, Jan. 30, falling 84–26. The loss moved the Rangerettes to 13–15 overall and 3–4 in district play. Seminole improved to 26–4 overall and remained perfect at 7–0 in district.

The big picture: The Maidens jumped out to a 29–3 lead after the first quarter, widening the gap in the second to 55–8 at halftime. After the break, Greenwood continued competing, but Seminole maintained control. The Maidens led 67–16 after three quarters. In the fourth, Seminole added to the margin and closed out the 84–26 district win.
