What happened: The Greenwood Rangerettes won their final regular-season match Saturday, Oct. 25, against Fort Stockton with a 3‑0 sweep. Set scores were Greenwood 25‑21, 25‑19, 25‑20, giving the team a decisive victory to finish out their season before heading into the playoffs. Greenwood finished the regular season 28‑12 overall and 8‑2 in league play. Greenwood remains undefeated against Fort Stockton this year, also winning 3‑1 on Oct. 7.

What’s next: Greenwood will advance to the playoffs with a first-round bi-district game against Canyon High at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, at Lubbock Cooper High School.
