What happened: Legacy earned a home district win over Frenship on Friday, Jan. 30, winning 69–63. The victory moved the Rebels to 10–15 overall and 4–1 in district play. Frenship fell to 9–17 overall and 2–3 in district.

The big picture: The Rebels led 13–9 after the first quarter. The offense picked up pace in the second quarter, with Legacy adding 21 points in the period to take a 34–29 lead into halftime. After the break, the Tigers outscored Legacy and took a 51–50 lead entering the fourth. The Rebels regained control in the final period, scoring 19 points to Frenship’s 12. Legacy closed out the game with a 69–63 district victory.

What’s next: Legacy will travel to face San Angelo Central (22–5 overall, 3–1 district) on Tuesday, Feb. 3. Tipoff for the district matchup is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
