What happened: Legacy dropped a 69–49 road district game to Frenship Tigers on Tuesday, Feb. 17. The loss moves the Rebels to 13–17 overall and 7–3 in district play, finishing second in 6A Region I District 2 behind San Angelo Central. Frenship improved to 12–19 overall and 5–5 in district, placing fourth. Both teams will advance to the playoffs.

The big picture: Legacy trailed early, falling behind 20–15 after the first quarter. The Rebels regrouped in the second quarter, pulling even at 32–32 by halftime. Frenship took control after the break, outscoring Legacy 24–10 in the third quarter to build a 56–42 advantage. The Tigers continued to pull away in the fourth, closing on a 13–7 run to secure the 20-point win.
