What happened: Legacy earned a 55–47 district win over the Odessa Broncos on Wednesday, Jan. 28. Legacy improved to 9–15 overall and 3–1 in district play, while Odessa fell to 17–12 overall and 1–3 in district.

The big picture: Legacy led 8–7 after the first quarter and expanded their advantage to 23–18 at halftime. Odessa cut into the margin in the third quarter, trailing 38–41. In the fourth quarter, Legacy outscored Odessa 14–6 to close the game and secure the eight-point win.

What’s next: Legacy will host Frenship on Friday, Jan. 30. The Tigers enter the matchup at 8–16 overall and 1–2 in district. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
