What happened: Legacy fell to San Angelo Central 79–43 on Monday, Feb. 3, as the Rebels dropped to 10–16 overall and 4–2 in district. San Angelo Central improved to 24–5 overall and 5–1 in district with the road win. Tristine Turner led Legacy with 12 and added 8 rebounds.

The big picture: San Angelo Central established control early and built on it throughout the night. Central led 21–5 after the first quarter, and the lead continued to grow with Central outscoring Legacy in the second quarter to take a 39–15 advantage at the break.

Central pushed the margin to 59–30 in the third quarter, keeping Legacy from cutting into the deficit. Central closed the game with a strong fourth quarter to finish the night ahead 79–43.
