What happened: Legacy’s season ended with a tough 27–26 home playoff loss to Eastlake on Monday, Feb. 16. The Lady Rebels finished the year 23–11 overall and 7–3 in district play, placing second in 6A Region I District 1 behind Frenship. Eastlake improved to 19–13 overall after advancing despite entering the postseason as the district’s fourth-place team.

The big picture: Legacy held a narrow 6–4 lead after the first quarter and stayed in front at halftime, 14–12. The Lady Rebels extended the margin to 23–18 by the end of the third quarter. Eastlake closed the game with a 9–3 fourth quarter, pulling ahead in the final minutes to secure the one-point playoff win.
