What happened: Legacy volleyball started the Mansfield Tournament with a 2-1 record Thursday, highlighted by wins over Amarillo West Plains and Keller Timber Creek. The Lady Rebels opened with a three-set victory over West Plains (25-23, 14-25, 25-18), fell to Waxahachie in two (25-17, 25-19), and closed the day with a tight win over Timber Creek (25-16, 15-25, 25-22).

Paige Beall led the way with 28 kills and five aces across the three matches. Libero Mylie Herrera anchored the defense with 43 digs, while Olivia Ramirez tallied 34 assists and 22 digs. Jerzy Schafer added 22 kills, and Essence Willis registered six blocks.

Legacy (3-1) continues tournament play Friday.
