What happened: Midland Classical fell 68–35 in a district road game at top-ranked Lubbock Christian on Wednesday, Jan. 28. This loss moves the Knights to 11–18 overall and 3–4 in district play. Lubbock Christian improved to 15–7 overall and remains undefeated in district at 5–0. James Clark led the Knights with 14 points.
The big picture: Midland Classical struggled early, scoring just 3 points in the first quarter while Lubbock Christian scored 18. By halftime, the Knights slightly closed the gap to 13–35.
