What happened: Midland Classical earned a strong 68–58 road win over Fort Stockton on Saturday, Nov. 15, taking control early with a 27–19 first quarter and holding a steady lead the rest of the way. The Lady Knights led 42–32 at halftime, extended the margin to 58–44 after the third, and closed out the game with confident late possessions.

Go deeper: Senior Mariah Davis delivered a dominant performance, scoring 39 points while shooting 13-of-23 from the field and 10-of-10 at the free-throw line. Calleigh Murphy added 11 points on efficient shooting, and senior Maddie Valles contributed 11 more while logging key minutes. Midland Classical knocked down 6 threes, won the rebounding battle, and added 10 assists with 11 steals.

Their balance on both ends helped maintain control throughout each quarter. The win gives Midland Classical another quality result in non-district play, moving the team up to 3-0 for the season. With strong senior leadership and continued growth across the rotation, the Lady Knights showed poise, execution, and the ability to finish on the road.
