Temple Christian fell to 0–7 overall and 0–2 in district. Mariah Davis led the Lady Knights with 32 points, including four 3-pointers.

The big picture: Midland Classical controlled the game early, leading 17–9 after the first quarter. The Lady Knights extended the margin to 26–20 at halftime, then pulled away decisively in the third quarter, outscoring Temple Christian 19–2 to take a 45–22 advantage entering the fourth. Midland Classical maintained control the rest of the way to secure the 57–32 final.
