What happened: Midland Christian defeated Southwest Christian 82–57 in a district home game on Tuesday, Feb. 10. The win closed district play for the Mustangs, who finished 26–10 overall and 9–3 in TAPPS 5A District 1. Southwest Christian fell to 12–20 overall and 2–10 in district.

What’s next: Midland Christian finished second in TAPPS 5A District 1, behind undefeated Grace Prep. The Mustangs will host the first playoff game, though the opponent and official bracket have not yet been released.
