The big picture: Midland Christian took control early and never let up. The Lady Mustangs jumped out to a 16–10 first-quarter lead behind early 3-pointers from Jordan Stokes and Lauren Alvizo, along with consistent paint scoring from Trinity Etheredge and Jordyn Hamilton. Fox closed the quarter with a late 3 to maintain the edge.

The game broke open in the second quarter. Midland Christian outscored Grapevine Faith 14–0, holding the hosts scoreless while building a 30–10 halftime advantage. Fox opened the quarter with another 3-pointer, and Stokes capped the run with a triple just before the break.

Midland Christian continued to apply pressure after halftime, extending the lead to 39–10 by the end of the third quarter. Alvizo connected from deep, Fox added five points, and the Lady Mustangs limited Grapevine Faith to just 10 points through three quarters.
