What to watch: Midland Bible Church’s annual Country Fair returns this Sunday, Oct. 26. Bring your friends, family, and neighbors to enjoy one of Midland’s most anticipated fall events.

Why it matters: Country Fair started in 2018 with just a few hundred attendees, mostly church members. It quickly grew to attract several thousand people from across the community. Entirely volunteer-run, this event reflects Midland Bible Church’s heart for service and outreach. It continues to be one of the church’s favorite traditions, designed to connect neighbors and celebrate community through generosity and joy.

The big picture: Costumes are encouraged, and admission is free. Guests can look forward inflatables, a hayride, a cow train, a cake walk, and a petting zoo. There will also be classic games like ring toss, bowling, and “gone fishing,” along with face painting and tinsel hair stations. The food includes classic fair food like mac n cheese, BBQ chicken, funnel cake fries, chili dogs, hot chocolate and cider, and dumplings made by the Mayflower Church.

Go deeper: The Country Fair runs from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the church’s campus at 5900 Whitman Dr. Admission and everything offered at the fair is free and open to the public.

What they’re saying: “In 2024, we hosted our largest Country Fair ever, welcoming 6,000 guests and volunteers onto our campus. Our prayer team gave out 200 Bibles, and the Gospel Face Painters led 17 souls to Christ while sharing the gospel with 178 kids. We love creating an outreach to our community that creates a safe place for families to have fun and be surrounded by Christ’s love,” said the MBC Country Fair team.
