What happened: Midland Christian couldn’t overcome a dominant All Saints offense Thursday night, Oct. 23, in Fort Worth, falling 45–10. The Mustangs struck first and held their own early, but the Saints’ balanced passing attack pulled away before halftime.

The big picture: The loss moved Midland Christian to 5–3 overall and 2–1 in district play. After trading touchdowns in the first quarter, the Mustangs briefly regained the lead on a field goal early in the second. All Saints answered with back-to-back scoring drives and added a late field goal before halftime to take control, 24–10. Turnovers proved costly in the second half, as the Saints capitalized on a fumble return and an interception for touchdowns to put the game out of reach.

Midland Christian found early rhythm on offense, knotting the score 7–7 in the opening quarter before tacking on a second-quarter field goal. From there, All Saints took command with a string of three straight touchdown drives. Despite the final score, the Mustang defense showed effort and toughness throughout, recording multiple sacks and forcing pressure up front against a district powerhouse.
