What happened: Midland Christian volleyball dropped its first match Tuesday, falling 25-22, 25-22 to Abilene Wylie in a dual at Wylie High School.

Jordyn Hamilton paced the Lady Mustangs with nine kills, while Sarah Sheppard led the defense with 10 digs. Setter Katelyn Philley directed the offense with 14 assists.

Midland Christian will look to rebound later in the week against Lubbock All Saints.
