What happened: Midland Classical Academy fell 1-3 to Lake Country Christian on Saturday, Oct. 11, in a home district matchup. The Knights fought through a competitive four-set match, taking the third 25–23 before the Eagles closed it out 25–16, 26–24, 23–25, 25–13. With the loss, MCA moved to 12–14-1 overall and 1–4 in TAPPS 4A District 1.

Despite the defeat, Midland Classical showed continued growth against one of the district’s stronger opponents. The Knights have held their own in close sets throughout the season, reflecting their steady progress and resilience within a competitive district slate.

Midland Classical travels to Lubbock Christian on Tuesday, Oct. 14, to face one of the district’s top-ranked teams as they look to bounce back and regain momentum.
