What happened: Midland Classical defeated Fort Worth Temple Christian 3–1 in a district match at home on Saturday, Oct. 4. The Lady Knights took the first two sets 25–13 and 25–15, dropped the third 25–21, and closed out the win 25–20. Strong teamwork and energy carried Midland Classical from start to finish. The Lady Knights are now 1-3 in district play and 11-13-1 overall.

What’s next: Midland Classical continues its schedule Tuesday, Oct. 7, in another home matchup against Rankin.
