Midland rings in spring with festivals, markets, family fun
What to watch: Midland families can enjoy a packed weekend reigning in spring activities. From farmers markets to car shows, family festivals, fundraisers, and live performances, there’s something fun for all ages across the Permian Basin.
Pickles over the Permian Tournament– Saturday, March 28, 8 a.m.–8 p.m.
This full-day pickleball tournament supports the Permian Basin Honor Flight benefiting local veterans. Gates open at 7 a.m., beginning with Women’s doubles, then Men’s doubles at 11 a.m., and mixed at 2 p.m. The tournament will end with a rotating partners slot at 5 p.m.

First Market of the Season: The 307 Farmer’s Market – Saturday, March 28, 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
The 307 Farmer’s Market joins us from Greenwood with local vendors offering baked goods, fresh produce, raw honey, handmade items, hot food, and more as the 2026 season kicks off at the new location. Find them on the west side of the Horseshoe parking lot.

Snapology Easter Engineering Eggstravaganza — Saturday, March 28, 10 a.m.–12 p.m.
Enjoy a fun, hands-on Easter celebration at Snapology. Kids and adults can build creative LEGO Easter scenes, adorable LEGO bunnies, compete in family build challenges, and contribute pieces to a giant community LEGO mosaic. The event is free but registration is needed.

Family Fun Fest Benefitting Bynum School – Saturday, March 28, 10 a.m.–1 p.m.
Bynum presents an unlimited day of fun! Family activities and festivities provided by sponsors fill the day with food trucks, fun and games, face-painting, and a variety of vendors. Every entry supports Bynum School—a nonprofit serving individuals with special needs year-round.
