Midland sweeps Central to clinch district championship

What happened: Midland High closed out the regular season with a commanding 3-0 road win over San Angelo Central on Friday, Oct. 24. Set scores were 25-17, 25-13, and 25-14 in favor of the Lady Bulldogs. The victory was Midland’s ninth straight win, moving the team to 34-8 overall and 9-1 in district play to secure the District 2-6A championship.
