Don’t miss these remaining RockHounds home games
What to watch: The Midland RockHounds enter the final stretch of the regular season with a 43-43 record and currently lead the Texas League South’s second-half standings, keeping them in position to contend for a playoff berth.
With only a handful of home series remaining before the regular season ends in September, fans have limited opportunities left to catch RockHounds baseball and several of the team’s biggest promotional nights.
The big picture: Four Friday home games remain this season, each featuring a giveaway for the first 1,000 fans, live music before first pitch, and kids running the bases after the game.
- July 31: Throwback Weekend with a throwback jersey giveaway.
- Aug. 7: Back-to-School Weekend featuring an insulated lunch bag giveaway.
- Aug. 28: AugtoberFest with a Nick Kurtz bobblehead giveaway.
- Sept. 11: First Responders Weekend featuring fireworks and the final Friday home game of the regular season.
Saturday home games feature postgame fireworks on Aug. 1, Aug. 8, Aug. 29, and Sept. 12. Families can also enjoy Brunch at the Ballpark and Rocky’s Kids Club on Aug. 9 and Sept. 13, the final two Sunday home games of the season.
Go deeper: Every home series also includes recurring weekly promotions:
- Tuesday – 2-for-Tuesdays: Buy one ticket, get one free, plus discounts on concessions and merchandise.
- Wednesday – Weenies and White Claws: $2 off hot dogs and $6 White Claws.
- Thursday – Thirsty Thursday: Discounted beverages and $5.50 draft and canned beer.
