What to watch: The Midland Youth Advisory Council (MYAC) returns this fall through a partnership between the City of Midland and the Bush Family Home State Historic Site. Applications are now open for 10th–12th grade students who want to help shape the future of their city.

The big picture: MYAC invites Midland teens to learn about our local government. Members build leadership and networking skills through hands-on experience. They will engage in meaningful service projects that create a positive impact on our community. Overall, the program equips members to make a tangible difference in Midland’s future. Upon completion, members receive a letter of recommendation.

Go deeper: Starting in September, MYAC will meet on the fourth Monday of each month. Applications are due by Aug. 31 and can be submitted via email to [email protected]. Application form available here.
