What happened: Teen Flow, a Midland-based youth nonprofit, is celebrating 25 years of ministry focused on mentorship, leadership, and consistent outreach to junior high and high school students.

Why it matters: The organization serves about 400 students annually through weekly programs and reaches up to 2,000 more through school partnerships. Transportation, meals, and activities are provided at no cost to families.

The big picture: Executive Director Jainah Clark joined Teen Flow in 2021 after years in the Dallas homeless ministry. She chose to focus on youth, seeing a greater openness to long-term impact. Her parents served in full-time inner-city ministry for more than three decades. Clark said she intentionally sought to carry on that legacy in Midland.

Teen Flow operates with the motto “entertain, then educate,” using fun and consistency to build trust. Every student is part of a small group led by a yearlong mentor. Beyond weekly programs, Teen Flow maintains a network of community partners offering housing support, counseling referrals, and basic needs assistance.

What’s next: With demand growing, Teen Flow is focused on strategic expansion, both in Midland and potentially beyond. Students who relocate often ask for Teen Flow in their new cities. Clark says the team takes a prayerful, intentional approach to growth.
