What happened: Trinity volleyball started fast but couldn’t hold off Imperial Buena Vista in a five-set non-district loss Tuesday at Beal Gymnasium. The Lady Chargers dropped the match 17-25, 19-25, 25-23, 26-24, 15-7.

Leila LaFarelle recorded a double-double with 14 kills and 24 assists, while Camryn Boyd added 12 kills. Blair Dinger also posted a double-double with 16 assists and 12 digs. Defensively, McKyna Pulley paced the back row with 17 digs, and Mary Brown controlled the net with six blocks. Sienna Zmigrosky sparked the serve with four aces.

Trinity returns home Saturday to host Holy Cross at 10 a.m.
