What happened: Trinity edged Pecos 3–2 in a tight non-district road match Tuesday, Sept. 16. The Lady Chargers opened with 25–18 and 25–17 wins before Pecos rallied to take the next two sets, 25–21 and 25–17. Trinity regrouped in the decisive fifth set, closing it out 15–6 to secure the win. The victory reflected the Lady Chargers’ composure and resilience in a back-and-forth five-set match. Trinity is now 8-5-3 overall.
