What happened: The City of Midland offers a 311-style tool called SeeClickFix that allows residents to report non-emergency city issues like potholes, parking problems, trash, and code violations. Midlanders actively used the SeeClickFix reporting tool in March, submitting requests that led to more than 1,000 tickets being closed across the city. Citizens can track the status of their reports and receive progress updates directly on their phones or computers.

The big picture: District 3 led with 306 tickets closed, followed by District 1 with 288, District 4 with 263, and District 2 with 204. Another 136 requests fell outside specific districts. The city said its average response time ranged from 0.4 days for parking violations and solid waste, 1.4 days for animal issues, 1.8 days for city park concerns, and 6.7 days for potholes.
