What to watch: Love Midland returns Saturday, Oct. 4, for its city-wide volunteer day. The event kicks off at 8 a.m. at Astound Broadband Stadium, followed by service projects throughout the day.

Why it matters: Love Midland’s mission is simple: “love our city” through participating, connecting, giving, and serving. This annual effort brings the town together to meet real needs across Midland. Whether it’s sprucing up public spaces or supporting local organizations.

The big picture: Last year’s inaugural event drew 500+ volunteers who completed more than 50 projects, from landscaping to building and organizing. Organizers hope to grow both the reach and impact of this year’s effort. Residents of all ages are invited to join in, celebrate together, and help make a lasting difference.

Go deeper: Register at LoveMidland.org to choose your volunteer project. The pep rally at Astound Broadband Stadium will start at 8 a.m., followed by service projects across the city from 10 a.m.–12 p.m.
