What happened: Midland families looking for summer STEM activities have several options this year through Code Ninjas Midland, which is offering camps focused on coding, robotics, artificial intelligence, Minecraft, Roblox, and video game design for children ages 5–14.
The camps are designed to teach technology and problem-solving skills through hands-on projects and interactive activities rather than traditional classroom instruction.
The big picture: Camp topics include Roblox game development, Minecraft coding and robotics, artificial intelligence activities, YouTube content creation, robotics engineering, video game design, and STEM coding challenges. Programs are available through Code Ninjas JR for ages 5–7, Code Ninjas CREATE for ages 8–14, and a variety of specialized summer camps.
According to the organization, students learn coding, computational thinking, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while building projects tied to their interests.
Go deeper: Beyond summer camps, the Midland location offers year-round coding and technology programs, Parents’ Night Out events, and birthday party packages.
The Midland franchise has also hosted community STEM opportunities, including a casting event connected to a Netflix educational series hosted by former NASA engineer and YouTuber Mark Rober.
