What happened: Greenwood advanced in the playoffs with a dominant 58–13 win over Eagle Mountain on Friday, Nov. 21. The Rangers set the tone early with a 15–7 first quarter and pushed the lead to 37–7 by halftime. After a scoreless third quarter for both teams, Greenwood finished strong to secure a decisive postseason victory. Greenwood is ranked No. 33 in the state.

Go deeper: The Rangers controlled every phase of the game, using steady offense and timely stops to build separation. Greenwood’s consistency at the line of scrimmage and ability to finish drives kept momentum on their side throughout the night. With no signs of slowing down, the Rangers improved to 12–0 and continued their undefeated run.

Greenwood outscored Eagle Mountain 43–6 after the opening quarter and maintained a 30-point cushion for most of the game. The Rangers’ balanced approach once again proved effective, as they limited scoring opportunities while capitalizing on key possessions.

What’s next: Greenwood moves on to face Graham (9–3) on Friday, Nov. 28, at 7 p.m. The matchup will be played at the Sweetwater Mustang Bowl as the Rangers look to extend their perfect season and continue their postseason push.
