The 2025 Greenwood softball team will go down in program history as one of its most successful squads in over a decade. This group advanced to the Regional Semifinals for the first time since 2011.

The Rangerettes opened the season with a 7-3 record through the first 10 games, outscoring opponents 60 to 18 in those victories. Greenwood started District 3-4A competition the following month and earned its first league win against Monahans 3-2. Head Coach Scott Robinson and company then ripped off three more wins in a row, including an 8-7 victory over eventual District Champion and State finalist Andrews.

Greenwood picked up another second-round victory against Pecos, 16-4, to add to the win total in league play. The Rangerettes wrapped up the district schedule with a 5-5 record and a fourth-place finish, sliding into the postseason. Several standouts also earned All-District honors. Farrah Fortner, Millie Wilkinson, Addison Arredondo, Brylee Savage, and Mae Savage were all named to the 1st team. Brissa Galindo and Hannah Zarate were tabbed to the 2nd team. Berkley Jenkins added an Honorable Mention nod. Lexi Stewart was also honored as an All-District Utility player.

The Rangerettes faced the Lady Harvesters from Pampa in the Bi-District Championship series. Coach Robinson’s team dominated in Game 1 with a 15-5 win behind a six-RBI performance from Brylee Savage. Greenwood fell in Game 2, but came out on top in the winner-takes-all Game 3 with a 6-4 win behind a couple of Wilkinson home runs.
