What to watch: The Midland County Hospital District Board of Directors will meet on May 29 at  at 11:45 a.m.

Why it matters: The board will introduce Jeremy Bishop as the new representative for District 2. Bishop will replace Dwain Tomlin, who chose not to seek re-election in the November 2024 election. No candidates filed to run for the open seat, allowing the board to appoint a qualified resident under standard procedure.
