Midland College Kids’ College returns with summer classes
What to watch: Midland families looking for summer options for their kids have another one to add to the list. Midland College’s Kids’ College is back for Summer 2026, offering a summer enrichment program for kids ages 6–12. The program is designed to introduce and enhance learning through fun, hands-on courses.
The big picture: Kids’ College offers a wide variety of enrichment classes, giving kids different ways to stay active, creative, and engaged throughout the summer. Along with sports and fitness options like basketball, dance, ninja obstacle training, and yoga, there are also several hands-on and creative classes.
Kids can explore art through classes like Messy Masterpieces, create their own movies in LEGO Films and Stop Motion, or learn a new language in Spanish Launchpad. There are also skill-building options like Speaking with Confidence, which focuses on public speaking, and STEM-based classes like drones and robotics, where students can build, code, and operate their own creations.
What’s next: Registration is now open for four weekly sessions: Week 1 (June 1–4), Week 2 (June 8–11), Week 3 (June 15–18), and Week 4 (June 22–25). Classes run Monday through Thursday from 1–5 p.m. Families can learn more and register online.
