What happened: Midland Christian earned a 46–16 district home win over All-Saints on Thursday, Jan. 22, to remain unbeaten in district play. The Lady Mustangs improved to 24–6 overall and 8–0 in district. Jordan Stokes led all scorers with 17 points, including five 3-pointers. Meanwhile, All-Saints dropped to 5–12 overall and 1–7 in district.

The big picture: Midland Christian seized control from the opening tip and never looked back. Jordyn Hamilton opened the scoring at the free-throw line, setting the tone before Jordan Stokes and Selah Fox knocked down early 3-pointers. Kailey Harris and Lauren Alvizo followed with finishes inside as the Mustangs raced to a 14–2 lead after the first quarter.

The pressure only intensified in the second period. Harris and Stokes connected from beyond the arc, while Hamilton and Harris continued to score in the paint, allowing Midland Christian to stretch the lead to 28–2 by halftime.

After the break, Stokes delivered the knockout stretch. She opened the third quarter by drilling three consecutive 3-pointers, pushing the margin even further. Hamilton and Addi Tatsch added inside baskets as Midland Christian carried a 43–8 advantage into the fourth.
