Lady Mustangs dominate Fort Worth Christian, go 10-0 district
What happened: Midland Christian earned a dominant district home win over Fort Worth Christian on Saturday, Jan. 31, winning 92–11. The victory moves Midland Christian to 26–6 overall and 10–0 in district play, while Fort Worth Christian falls to 4–21 overall and 0–10 in district. Selah Fox and Jordyn Hamilton led the Lady Mustangs with 20 points each.
The big picture: Midland Christian controlled the game from the opening tip. The Lady Mustangs jumped out to a 25–0 lead in the first quarter and extended that margin to 45–2 by halftime. After the break, Midland Christian continued to pull away, leading 74–5 after three quarters. The Lady Mustangs added 18 more points in the fourth quarter to close out the 92–11 district win.
