The Midland Christian softball team added its name to the history books with its deep postseason run to close the 2025 season. The Lady Mustangs advanced to the State Tournament for the first time since 2014.

MCS started the standout year with a challenging non-district slate, where the Lady Mustangs picked up a couple of big wins.  The Midland squad traveled to Forsan to close out the first month of the season and knocked off the 2024 2A State Tournament team 13-0. The TAPPS Division II team later took down District 2-6A foe Odessa High with a 13-5 victory.

The Lady Mustangs entered district play on a three-game win streak and carried that momentum through the rest of the TAPPS Division II District I competition. Midland Christian finished league play with a perfect 10-0 record, outscoring opponents 127 to just five, for the District Championship.

The Tall City team also earned several All-District honors. Ilyssa Foisy, Kyler Graham, Annie Munoz, Nevaeh Williams, Marisela Hernandez, and Maddy Munoz were on the 1st Team list. Mia Morales, Macey Wilson, and Addi Salas earned 2nd Team honors. Lexii Pena, Lilli Gurule, and Jordan Stokes rounded out the group with the Honorable Mention nod.
