What to Watch: Midland, it’s time to choose your side! The annual Battle of the Badges Blood Drive is back, pitting Midland PD against Midland Fire to see who can collect the most donations. Join in, save lives, and show your support for our first responders.

The Big Picture: “Three days. Two badges. One mission: save lives.” The friendly showdown runs September 2–4 across three locations. Hosted by United Blood Services, this annual event helps meet the urgent need for blood in West Texas. Every drop counts, and you can show your support for your favorite department while saving lives.

Go Deeper: The blood drive moves throughout the week, with a traveling trophy awarded to the department with the most donations. Step up, give blood, and celebrate community spirit in Midland!
