What happened: The Bulldogs competed in the Van Griffith Kia Basketball Tournament in Granbury from Thursday, Dec. 4, through Saturday, Dec. 6, finishing with a 1-4 record. Midland defeated Granbury (2-10 overall) but fell to Frisco’s Rock Hill (6-6 overall), Saginaw (8-6 overall), Everman (7-4 overall), and Arlington Lamar (4-9 overall). The Bulldogs moved to 5–6 for the season.
