What happened: Midland earned a decisive 3-0 win over Wolfforth Frenship on Friday, Oct. 10, taking control from the start with set scores of 25-15, 25-12, and 25-19. The victory improved the Bulldogs to 30-8 overall and 5-1 in district play. Midland has been dominant at home this season, showing steady communication and energy on the court. The team’s discipline, teamwork, and never-quit mindset have fueled one of its strongest seasons in recent years.

Go deeper: Midland previously lost to Frenship on Sept. 23, 2-3. The Lady Bulldogs regrouped and were able to get the win this time. Midland set the tone early, using consistent serving and sharp defense to limit Frenship’s offense. The Bulldogs maintained control throughout all three sets, closing out the match with confidence. The victory continued their momentum heading into the final stretch of district play. Frenship is 5-3 in district play.

What’s next: Midland will host Odessa Permian (2-6 in district play) on Tuesday, Oct. 14, for another district matchup.
