Lady Knights split four games at Borden County Tournament
What happened: Midland Classical went 2-2 at the Borden County Tournament from Thursday, Dec. 11, through Saturday, Dec. 13, moving to 11-7 overall on the season. The Lady Knights picked up wins over Ropes JV and Seagraves (1-8 overall) but fell to Ropes (11-3 overall) and Borden County (8-4 overall).
Mariah Davis led Midland Classical throughout the tournament with multiple high-scoring performances, while McKinlee Miller provided an offensive spark in Friday night’s comeback win.

- Game 1: Ropes 52, Midland Classical 35
Midland Classical fell behind 23–14 by halftime and couldn’t close the gap after the break. Mariah Davis scored 26 points, including three 3-pointers.
- Game 2: Borden County 58, Midland Classical 43
The Lady Knights trailed 33–24 at halftime in their second game of the day. Mariah Davis led the scoring with 26 points, including five 3-pointers and a perfect 7-for-7 night at the free-throw line.

Midland Classical went into halftime down 20–19 before pulling ahead in the second half. McKinlee Miller led the Lady Knights with a game-high 23 points.
- Game 4: Midland Classical 51, Seagraves 28
The Lady Knights took control early, carrying a 32–14 halftime lead into the break and closing out the win. Mariah Davis scored 26 points.
