Emily Ickert accounted for 33 of Trinity Christian’s 53 points, while Alex Ickert added 19.

The big picture: Midland Classical set the tone early, taking a 21–17 lead after the first quarter. The Lady Knights extended their advantage before halftime, outscoring Trinity Christian 17–13 in the second quarter to carry a 38–30 lead into the break.

Trinity Christian made a push in the third quarter, trimming the margin to 49–44. Midland Classical responded in the fourth, scoring 12 points while holding Trinity Christian to nine to close out the 61–53 district win.
