Kayden Young leads Lady Bulldogs 50-24 past Ft Stockton
What happened: Midland earned a 50–24 non-district road win Tuesday, Dec. 16, over Fort Stockton. The Lady Bulldogs improved to 10–6 overall, while Fort Stockton fell to 5–11. Kayden Young led Midland with 14 points.
The big picture: Midland led 12–7 after the first quarter and 27–10 at halftime. The Lady Bulldogs extended the lead to 42–15 after three quarters and closed out the win with a 50–24 final. Fort Stockton scored single digits in each quarter. Kayden Young went 7-for-8 from the free-throw line, and Angela Abril made three 3-pointers.
