ConocoPhillips donates $230,000 to United Way
What happened: ConocoPhillips presented a $230,000 check to United Way of Midland after its annual Permian Mini Masters Golf Tournament on April 9 at Hogan Park Golf Course. The donation will support programs that improve health, education, and financial stability for families across the Midland area.
Why it matters: United Way of Midland programs work with schools, nonprofits, and local organizations to benefit families, support children’s education, promote better health, and build financial stability for Midland residents.
What they’re saying: “On behalf of the United Way of Midland Board of Directors and staff, we extend our sincere gratitude to ConocoPhillips for their continued commitment to our community through this tournament,” Emily Holeva, Immediate Past Board Chair, said. “Their leadership and generosity help drive meaningful impact across Midland, supporting programs that strengthen families and create lasting change.”
“We’re honored to continue this partnership with the United Way of Midland,” ConocoPhillips Permian President Aaron Hunter said. “The generous support received through this tournament speaks to the United Way’s mission and the positive impact they continue to make on our community.”
