What happened: Greenwood defeated Midland Classical 48–29 on Tuesday, Dec. 16, in a cross-town non-district matchup. The win moved the Rangerettes to 9-8 overall, while the Lady Knights fell to 10-9.

The big picture: Greenwood built a narrow early lead but pulled away in the second quarter, limiting Midland Classical to two points in the period. The Rangerettes led 10–9 after the first quarter, then outscored Midland Classical 12–2 in the second to build a 22–11 halftime advantage. Greenwood continued to add to the lead in the second half.
