What happened: Midland Christian earned a 61–57 district road win over All-Saints on Thursday, Jan. 22, in Fort Worth. The victory moved the Mustangs to 23–8 overall and 6–1 in district play, while All Saints fell to 7–16 overall and 2–6 in district.

Brody McHugh delivered a standout performance for Midland Christian, scoring 31 points while knocking down eight 3-pointers. Cooper Johnston followed with 18 points, including four 3-pointers.

The big picture: Midland Christian jumped out to a narrow 14–13 lead after the first quarter, but All Saints responded in the second, edging ahead 28–24 at halftime. The Mustangs regained control coming out of the break, outscoring All Saints in the third quarter to take a 41–37 advantage. Midland Christian held on down the stretch, matching All Saints point for point in the fourth to secure the four-point win.
